5. Is There Any Way Of Improving On The Appearance Of My Black Fillings?
The black filling material in your teeth is amalgam. It has been used as a filling material for over a hundred years and it is still one of the strongest materials available. However, it is also one of the least attractive dental materials available, and causing a lot of cracking in the teeth.

There are a number of other tooth-colour restorative materials currently available that can be used to replace old amalgams including composite bonding material and porcelain, for a natural looking smile.
